Whenever there are symptoms of poor mental health or mental illness, stress is always present. The key to getting and staying well, is to identify and manage stress with helpful and positive coping techniques. Together, we will identify triggers, stressors and risk factors and help you to acknowledge where the feeling of anxiety and symptoms of stress is coming from and help you to adopt some effective techniques that can help with one-to-one support.
We can work with employees at all levels to show them how to spot the signs of stress and provide them with some stress management or coping techniques.
I have always had a passion for helping others, encouraging them to see their potential and helping them to overcome any lack of confidence that they may be experiencing.
Describing my coaching style, I would say that I use a person-centred holistic approach to coaching.
I have the ability to make people feel comfortable and relaxed quickly, thus building rapport, trus and confidence.
Whilst I challenge people, this is done in a way that adopts a positive approach to keeping the coachee’s mental and emotional wellbeing at the forefront. I understand the importance of this due to my role as a Mental Health Trainer.
I believe that coaching is all about ‘peeling back the layers’ of what is truly going on for an individual and delving deep to help them to understand what they are experiencing and why so that we can work on that and get results.
