We truly believe that everyone should have the knowledge and skills needed to administer basic First Aid in an Emergency situation.  It could mean the difference between life and death and can absolutely promote someone’s recovery whilst also preventing their condition from worsening.

As a Qualsafe approved Training Centre, we offer a range of Level 2 and 3 First Aid courses designed to meet the needs of your business and are in line with the Health & Safety Executive (First Aid) Regulations of 1981. 

We don’t just offer courses; we can also provide a unique continuation and consolidation training series where a member of our Professional team will set up and deliver some First Aid scenarios to mentor and exercise your nominated First Aiders all in the comfort of your own premises.  The scenarios are designed to provide a safe and practical refresher to those First Aiders to improve their confidence and competence in a simulated emergency scenario.   

We are proud to be able to deliver five First Aid and related courses including:

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

Over a 3-day period, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.

Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

Over this 2-day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: assessing an emergency situation, dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, choking, meningitis, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and more.

Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF)

This 6-hour course has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for the treatment and/or management of casualties who need the administration of emergency medical oxygen. This qualification is suitable for first aiders operating in high-risk or remote environments, community first responders, cabin/film crew, fire, police and other emergency services personnel.

Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support & Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF)

Over a half day period, successful learners will gain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing a casualty with anaphylaxis, CPR, common anaphylaxis triggers, signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, treatment and more. 

Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF)

This short course provides learners with the knowledge and practical competencies needed for the treatment of injuries and diseases that could occur whilst working in a forestry/agricultural specific environment. Topics covered include extreme hot and cold temperatures, managing catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries and Lyme disease.

This qualification is designed to accompany our regulated First Aid at Work qualification and has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.
